Practice

Mr. Schreiber, senior and founding partner of the Asset Management Group, has focused his practice in the asset management area for over 30 years. His practice includes the formation and representation of both U.S. and foreign public and private investment companies, their sponsors, advisors, directors, underwriters and administrators in all regulatory aspects of fund and investment advisory operations, as well as new product development. Mr. Schreiber also has a broad background in corporate finance, securities and futures regulations. An integral part of Mr. Schreiber’s practice is counseling non-U.S. issuers in connection with their U.S. public offerings and Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings to assure compliance with the provisions of the Investment Company Act of 1940.

  • A major investment bank in crafting the essential legal elements of several commodity-related financial instruments, including the first U.S. public offering of silver-indexed bonds (issued by the Sunshine Mining Company), several issues of Magma Copper Company interest-indexed notes and the American Stock Exchange's issuer-backed Gold Warrants
