Practice
Reinhard Stockum is tax advisor and was a partner in the Frankfurt office from January 2000 to January 2011 when he became an Of Counsel of the firm.
He specializes in national and international tax law related to cross-border structures and provides tax advice on restructurings, transformations, mergers, split-offs, formation of joint ventures, stock option plans and M&A transactions. He also advises associations and foundations on all aspects of tax law.
Before joining Shearman & Sterling in January 1999, Reinhard Stockum joined a German law firm for nearly two years. Before that he worked for 20 years at the tax administration of the state Hesse.
