Shearman & Sterling Advises on KeyCorp’s $437 Million Note Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. as underwriters of KeyCorp’s $437.5 million issuance of floating rate senior notes guaranteed under the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program. KeyCorp is one of the 20 largest bank-based financial services companies, with consolidated total assets of approximately $104.5 billion, and provides a wide range of retail and commercial banking, commercial leasing, investment management, consumer finance and investment banking products and services to individual, corporate and institutional clients. This is the third securities offering that Shearman & Sterling has recently completed on behalf of various underwriters for KeyCorp, offerings that have raised over $937.5 million for the company.
