Shearman & Sterling advised the underwriters (Société Générale, CALYON, Citi, HSBC, BNP Paribas and Lazard-NATIXIS) in connection with Peugeot's offering of OCEANEs (bonds convertible into and/or exchangeable for new or existing shares) due 2016. The offering was launched on June 23 2009 for a total amount of €575 million.

This transaction consisted of a public offering in France and a private placement in France and internationally.
