Shearman & Sterling Represents Dow Chemical in the Restructuring of the Rohm & Haas Transaction

Shearman & Sterling is representing the Dow Chemical Company in connection with the restructuring of the pending Rohm & Haas acquisition. Under the terms of the restructured transaction, certain stockholders of Rohm & Haas have agreed to purchase preferred stock of Dow Chemical with the cash proceeds received in the merger. The deal is expected to close on April 1.
