In the United States and abroad, the firm has been at the forefront of the movement by corporations to finance real estate assets by means of synthetic leases, leverage leases, sale/leasebacks, and other innovative structures.  The firm has created structures to implement such transactions in jurisdictions in which legal impediments had previously made such transactions impractical.

We have also pioneered the development of other off-balance-sheet transactions, including research and development joint ventures, deconsolidation transactions, and single and multiple-asset financings.  The firm provides solutions for financial and tax issues that enable the sponsors to mitigate credit, asset and exit risks and allow the transactions to be financed at advantageous rates.
