Sanja (Sonny) Udovicic is a partner in our Singapore office. She has broad finance law expertise and experience in advising both financiers and corporate clients on a variety of financing arrangements, including project, acquisition, vendor and structured financings in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. She is qualified under English and New York law.

- Société Générale and Barclays Capital as arrangers of the financing of SembCorp’s acquisition and expansion of the Fujairah IWPP in the UAE
- The Asian Development Bank on a variety of matters, including its acquisitions of stakes in Bank of China and Hangzhou City Commercial Bank; its financing of the Business Development Bank in Shanghai; a number of project financings in India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and elsewhere; and its investments in various PRC and regional funds
- Huawei in connection with its vendor financings in Hong Kong and Bangladesh
- The Asian Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, the National Bank of Pakistan and Habib Bank Limited’s financing of the New Bong Escape hydropower project in Pakistan
- International arrangers of the financing of the Sidi Krir power project in Egypt
- Lenders to the Sulaibiya waste water treatment project in Kuwait
- ESBI in connection with the financing of the Amorebieta power project in the Basque Country, Spain
- Royal Bank of Scotland in connection with its equity interest in the Edipower project in Italy
- True Move on the refinancing of its mobile telecom network in Thailand
- DVB Bank as lender to the Curacao airport project in the Netherlands Antilles
- Ericsson on the securitisation of its vendor financing portfolio
- PTK Centertel, a subsidiary of France Telecom, on the financing of a mobile phone network in Poland
