Bednarek Interviewed in The Deal on Bilski Ruling

Shearman & Sterling partner and co-chair of the Intellectual Property and Technology Litigation Practice, Michael Bednarek (Washington, D.C.- Litigation), was featured in a video interview in The Deal's Pipeline segment on June 30. Bednarek commented that the Supreme Court did not narrow the guidelines for patenting business methods in its ruling in Bilski vs Kappos. "And that's a good thing for the U.S. economy and for transactions in the financial services, medical diagnostics and green business sectors," he said.
