Brexit has added a new dimension to the introduction of the G20 reform mandate in the UK.  Over 200 banks, brokers, buysides and other market participants gathered to discuss how Mifid II and other European regulations will be impacted by Brexit. The keynote speaker for the event was Stephen Hanks, Manager, Markets Division, FCA.

Donegan was on the panel "Brexit: What Happens Next?" which discussed what Brexit means for the implementation of EU regulatory reform in the UK and our interaction with Europe and the rest of the world. Stehl was on the panel discussing "Market Abuse Regulation (MAR): Lessons learned from the first three months" which examined how MAR is changing operations, how firms have reacted to stricter market sounding rules and the technology solutions solving the challenges.
