Cynthia Urda Kassis and Richard Price, lead an interactive breakfast seminar in the Toronto office on anti-corruption crisis management for the mining & metals industry during the PDAC convention.
Targeted at senior business professionals, the seminar:
- Provided an overview of recent reported cases implicating the mining industry and identified key developments
- Reviewed potential business implications of corruption issues on such things as liquidity, commercial contracts, joint venture relationships and governmental relationships
- Discussed best practices to manage and react to a corruption crisis, including the pros and cons of self-reporting
