Counsel Jeffrey Tate (Washington, DC – Tax) spoke at an event titled “Current Tax Topics of Interest for Private Equity Managers” (“Temas tributários atuais de interesse de gestores de private equity”) on August 23, 2017 in São Paulo, Brazil.  The event was hosted by ABVCAP, the Brazilian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, and also included tax attorneys from Veirano Advogados.  The presentation covered recent Brazilian tax developments as well as international tax structuring considerations for Brazilian private equity funds.  Approximately 50 private equity fund managers, fund administrators, representatives from ABVCAP and other personnel attended the presentation.
