Partner Donna Parisi (New York-Derivatives & Structured Products) spoke at PLI’s "Understanding Financial Products 2018" seminar which took place on January 24-25, 2018. The seminar explained the fundamentals that attorneys, financial advisors, accountants and other professionals need to understand when working with common financial investment products. Parisi spoke at the "Derivatives Products" session on January 24, which focused on the use of swaps, collars, options, futures and forwards to hedge portfolio positions as well as documentation for derivatives, the impact of the Dodd-Frank Act, potential impact of Brexit and special issues associated with credit derivatives.
