Partner Li Chen (Beijing/Hong Kong- Mergers & Acquisitions) participated at the IFLR Asia M&A Forum in Hong Kong.

Li led a panel discussion on “Investment Trends in Asia-outbound M&A into Europe” that discussed general trend investing in Europe, including top active sectors, experiences in China's tightening in foreign exchange control and impacts and trend of the Belt and Road initiative. Together with speakers from ADM Capital, Commerzbank Corporate Finance, ZZ Capital, China-Eurasian Economic Cooperation Fund and GF Securities, the discussion also addressed how to deal with regulatory issues, the main concerns behind European targets and how can cultural issues between buyers and sellers be tackled.
