Shearman & Sterling sponsored the 40th Annual NYU International Hospitality Investment Conference on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Partner Malcolm Montgomery, Real Estate Team Leader and Head of the Hospitality, Leisure and Gaming Industry Group, spoke on a panel titled, “Debt Financing Today: Terms, Sources, and What Lenders Want” along with delegates from Hospitality Investors Trust, Jones Lang LaSalle and Wells Fargo Bank.  The panel discussed trends in the lending market, how to approach pricing and terms, and changes we can expect to see in the months and year ahead.  

The conference featured general sessions, workshops and networking events to provide data, analysis, perspectives, insights and opportunities related to the hospitality investment market.  At the conference, leading lodging executives, investors, developers, analysts and economists participated in robust discussions on diverse international hospitality and lodging industry topics.
