Partners Li Chen (Beijing/Hong Kong-Mergers & Acquisitions) spoke at the 3rd Annual China M&A Forum organized by AVCJ and Mergermarket in Shanghai on October 18, 2018. 

Li moderated the panel “Chinese Outbound: Venturing Into New Markets.” The panel focused on the trends of Chinese companies seeking deals that support the One Belt One Road initiative (OBOR) and local economic growth. Discussion topics included the opportunities and sourcing of interesting deals; sectors that align best with OBOR; the role of private equity in M&A deals; and the key challenges when entering emerging markets.
