Antitrust Global Practice Leader David Higbee (Washington, D.C.-Antitrust) and partner Elvira Aliende Rodriguez (Brussels-Antitrust) spoke at a conference called “Towards More Competition in High-Tech Markets? European Perspectives,” held in Brussels on October 24.

David welcomed guests and moderated the “Mergers in the High-Tech Sector” panel, while Elvira discussed competition law issues related to the financial services sector and FinTechs in particular. The event was co-organized by Concurrences, Copenhagen Economics and Shearman & Sterling.
