Counsel Roberta Cherman (São Paulo-Capital Markets) participated in a seminar called “Urban Infrastructure: Investment and Financing Opportunities of Green Projects in Brazil,” on November 13 at the São Paulo office of local law firm Pinheiro Neto Advogados. Roberta spoke on the panel “Financing Urban Infrastructure: Regulatory Aspects,” where she discussed financing opportunities for green urban infrastructure projects and in particular about structuring green bonds and loans and financing cross-border projects.

Other participants included representatives of IDB Brazil, Brazil’s Ministry of Economy, BNDES, InvestSP, Climate Bonds Initiative, the Brazilian Waste-to-Energy Association (ABREN) and host Pinheiro Neto Advogados.
