Shearman & Sterling Promotes 9 to Counsel

Global law firm Shearman & Sterling has promoted nine lawyers to counsel. The new counsel represent six offices and cover five practice areas.

The following lawyers were promoted to counsel:

Anna Chung is a lawyer in the project development and finance practice area in Singapore. She received an LL.B. and a B. Comm. from University of New South Wales in 2003.

Séverine de La Courtie is a lawyer in the capital markets practice area in Paris. She graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) in 1997 after having obtained a D.E.A. in Business Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas in 1995.

Andrea De Pieri is a lawyer in the mergers and acquisitions practice area in Milan. He was awarded an LL.M. from Fordham University School of Law in 2003 and a J.D. from Università degli Studi di Milano in 1998.

Jackson Lam practices in the finance practice area in London. He received an LL.B. from Monash University in 2000 and a B.Comm. from Monash University in 1997.

Simon J. Little is a lawyer in the mergers and acquisitions practice area in London. He obtained an LL.M. in Corporation Law from New York University School of Law in 2007 and completed a degree in Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford in 1998.

Dr. Kolja Stehl is a lawyer in the finance practice area in Frankfurt. He was awarded a Magister Juris (distinction) from the University of Oxford in 2007, a Ph.D. (Dr. iur.) from the University of Bonn in 2007, and a Maîtrise en Droit from the Université Aix-Marseille III in 2000. He completed the Second German State Examination in Law in 2006 and the First German State Examination in Law in 2002.

Emanuele Trucco is a lawyer in the capital markets practice area in Milan. He obtained an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2003 and a J.D. from Università degli Studi di Milano in 1999.
