Shearman & Sterling Bolsters M&A Practice with Return of Daniel Litowitz in New York

Global law firm Shearman & Sterling has bolstered its M&A practice with the addition of Daniel Litowitz, who rejoins the firm as counsel in the firm’s New York office. Litowitz comes from Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP. 

Litowitz has considerable US and global experience in a wide range of strategic transactions, including cash and stock mergers, tender and exchange offers, private equity transactions, stock and asset acquisition and disposition transactions, and joint ventures for US and multinational clients. His career at Shearman & Sterling included two years at the firm's London office. Litowitz has broad industry experience, including in the media and entertainment, airline, chemical, pharmaceutical, and paper and packaging industries.
