Shearman & Sterling's Italian office has been recognized as “Investment Funds Firm of the Year” by Italy's TopLegal awards.

The judges praised our team's work on a number of high-profile private capital transactions advising sovereign wealth funds such as Qatar Investment Authority, and private equity clients such as Blackstone and TPG.

The award was decided by a panel of general counsel from Italy's leading businesses, as well as professionals from the world of finance, business and communications. The awards acknowledge the volume of deals successfully executed and the creative approaches taken by law firms to solve their clients’ problems.
