Shearman & Sterling Advises on the Province of British Columbia’s $750 Million Bond Offering

Shearman & Sterling represented the Province of British Columbia in connection with its public offering of US$750 million aggregate principal amount of its 2.25% Bonds, Series BCUSG-9, due June 2, 2026, which closed on June 2, 2016.

British Columbia, with an estimated population of 4.6 million people in 2014, is the third-largest Canadian province by population and home to Vancouver, Canada’s third-largest city.
