Shearman & Sterling Advises Initial Purchasers on $700 Million Notes Offering by Bancomext

Shearman & Sterling represented BBVA Securities Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC as initial purchasers in connection with the issuance of US$700 million aggregate principal amount of 3.800% Subordinated Preferred Capital Notes due 2026 under Rule 144A/Regulation S by Bancomext (Banco Nacional de Comercio Exterior, Sociedad Nacional de Crédito, Institución de Banca de Desarrollo’s, acting through its Cayman Islands Branch), a development bank owned by the Mexican government.
