Shearman & Sterling advised a consortium of banks led by Bayerische Landesbank on the financing of the acquisition of ChainMaster Bühnentechnik GmbH by LIFTKET Hoffmann GmbH, a portfolio company of AFINUM as part of a succession regulation. With the acquisition, LIFTKET plans to grow the stage segment, strengthening both companies.

The event and stage technology specialist develops automated hoist systems including control, software and operator interfaces.
