Shearman & Sterling was awarded “Equity Deal of the Year” for its work on ADNOC Distribution’s landmark initial public offering (IPO) at the 2018 IFLR Middle East Awards. The awards recognize the most innovative deals, teams, firms and advisors in the industry in the Middle East.

 The award acknowledged the firm’s work on ADNOC Distribution’s listing on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) in December 2017, making it the largest IPO on the ADX in over a decade.

Representatives from Shearman & Sterling, ADNOC Group and ADNOC Distribution attended the award ceremony on October 17 at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
