Shearman & Sterling is delighted to announce the firm has joined the Legal and Regulatory Group (LRG) of Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC), the leading industry association for the blockchain ecosystem. As part of the LRG, the firm will advise GBBC member companies, and the broader ecosystem, on the legal and regulatory issues originating from the development and adoption of blockchain technology.

Adding to this, on March 28, Donna will participate in an educational event called “Navigating the Regulatory Environment,” alongside Jeff Bandman of Global Digital Finance; Sandra Ro of the GBBC and Dan Gorfine of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
