Partner Cynthia Urda Kassis (New York-Project Development & Finance) received the ‘Lawyer of the Year’ award in their respective practice areas at this year’s Who’s Who Legal Awards, which took place in London on May 16, 2019.

Who’s Who Legal is a publication, which is based upon an independent survey of general counsel and private practice lawyers worldwide, that profiles the foremost legal practitioners globally. Each year, after an in-depth assessment of their research, ‘Lawyers of the Year’ are identified in each featured practice area and awards are given to the individuals that perform exceptionally well in their research.

Cynthia Urda Kassis is Co-Head of the firm’s Mining & Metals industry group and is a partner in the Project Development & Finance practice. She focuses on project finance, joint venture transactions and restructuring for clients including major financial institutions, corporations, government agencies, regional development banks and export credit agencies.
