Shearman & Sterling advised the underwriters, led by Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank Securities and Citigroup, in Wanda Sports Group's $190 million initial public offering. The shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol “WSG” on July 26, 2019.  

Beijing-based Wanda Sports Group is one of the world’s largest sports events, media and marketing platforms in terms of revenue. The company provides media production and media distribution, sponsorship and marketing and events operation for rights owners, brands and advertisers and fans and athletes. It owns Switzerland-based Infront Sports & Media, a leading sports marketing company and Tampa-based World Endurance Holdings, a leading provider of mass participation sports events including IRONMAN triathlons.
