Shearman & Sterling represented Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in a $314 million secured term loan to a joint venture between Mexican developer Advance Real Estate and Canadian pension fund Public Sector Pension Investment Board to finance the acquisition and recapitalization of a large portfolio of Class A industrial properties in 10 markets across Mexico. The financing provides flexibility for property substitutions, future development and asset sales.
