Shearman & Sterling’s Latin America Team Earns Top Rankings in The Legal 500

Shearman & Sterling earned top rankings in the latest edition of The Legal 500 – Latin America guide.

The firm attained Band 1 ranking in Projects, with partner Cynthia Urda Kassis being recognized as Leading Individual and associate Augusto Ruiloba being named as a Rising Star.

The publication noted that “the firm has an enviable profile in renewables, mining and metals, and in private placement financings.”

Our Latin America team also took a Band 1 ranking in Banking & Finance, with partners Denise Grant and Cynthia Urda Kassis being named Leading Individuals, while associate Augusto Ruiloba was recognized as a Rising Star.

Legal 500 said our “core banking and finance group has an excellent record in acquisition finance, structured finance, export and pre-export finance, restructurings and bank/bond financings.”
