Angie Bible is counsel in the Energy Industry Group and the Mergers & Acquisitions and Project Development & Finance practices. She has a wide range of experience in the international and U.S. energy sectors, with a particular focus on upstream, midstream (including LNG), downstream, green energy, and carbon capture-related transactions and projects, including acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, and other complex commercial matters.

Ms. Bible has significant experience in drafting and negotiating joint operating agreements, farmout agreements, joint development agreements, acreage exchange agreements, oil and gas leases, and agreements for various services, crude oil connection, gas gathering and processing, NGL transportation, fractionation and storage, royalty creation, and the purchase and sale of assets, companies, and production.

Ms. Bible joined Shearman & Sterling following several years as in house counsel at a multinational energy company, where she handled upstream and midstream legal matters in the Permian Basin, Oklahoma, the Rockies, and Alaska. Prior to that, she worked at a large international law firm. Before law school, she was a newspaper crime reporter.
