Chris Collins is an Associate in the Litigation practice.

He has broad experience advising on a wide range of commercial litigation, investigatory and advisory matters, with a particular focus on multi-jurisdictional disputes. Chris acts for a range of corporate clients and financial institutions.

• ENKA in ENKA v OOO “Insurance Company Chubb”, obtaining an anti-suit injunction restraining Russian proceedings brought in breach of an arbitration agreement.The Supreme Court’s decision, upholding that of the Court of Appeal to grant the anti-suit relief sought by ENKA, is an important step in clarifying the English Court's supervisory role in relation to arbitrations seated in the jurisdiction, and in particular the relevance of the seat to the determination of the proper law of an arbitration agreement and the English Court's jurisdiction to grant anti-suit relief for breach of such agreements whether governed by English law or not.
• £35 million claim on behalf of a New York and London based hedge fund in English Commercial Court for breach of an option agreement.
• Review and revision of ADGM Courts, Civil Evidence, Judgments, Enforcement and Judicial Appointments Regulations.
• Representation of global cargo carrier in multi-billion pound follow-on proceedings in England, arising from the EU Commission's Air Cargo cartel decision.
