Garreth Wong is a partner in the International Arbitration practice based in London.
With almost two decades in practice, Garreth is lead counsel to companies, State-owned entities and States in business-critical, high value commercial and investment treaty arbitrations and complex multi-jurisdictional litigation and disputes governed by a wide variety of national laws. He also regularly acts as arbitrator.
Garreth has particular experience with emerging markets, including Africa, Eastern/Central Europe, Russia, Central and South Asia, China and Southeast Asia. His experience spans disputes relating to mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and shareholder agreements, energy, mining and natural resources, projects and construction, telecommunications and technology, financial services, industrials and aviation, and pharmaceuticals and life sciences.
