Partner Doreen Lilienfeld, Practice Group Leader of the Compensation, Governance & ERISA Group, recently wrote a chapter titled “Say-on-Pay, the Golden Parachute, and Other Executive Compensation Issues” for the Thomson Reuters/Aspatore publication, Inside the Minds—Recent Changes in Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation.
The chapter discusses the increased regulatory and shareholder scrutiny and other challenges facing executive compensation decision makers and the strategies they have utilized in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. Also included is a discussion of the corporate governance best practices that will enable companies to withstand this intense scrutiny.
