The article explores the research findings by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) into the gender pay gap at FTSE 100 companies, which revealed that female CEOs earn less than half as much as their male counterparts, and examines the causes of gender pay gaps, how companies are addressing the issue and the reliability of data on the subject.
