Shearman & Sterling real estate partner Lisa M. Brill delivered a presentation titled “Key Considerations in Hotel Development and Investment” on May 10, 2016 at the New York Commercial Real Estate Summit held at the New York Athletic Club.

Brill discussed the key issues relevant to the main parties involved in hotel transactions―owners, investors, operators and lenders—and how to navigate those issues during the negotiation process. She was joined by Daniel Cuhna, Managing Partner of SucessCapital, a real estate investment company, hotel investor and developer located in São Paulo, Brazil.

The WeiserMazars New York Commercial Real Estate Summit is the latest in a series of conferences led by the accounting and consulting firm. This year’s event featured keynote speakers David Lichtenstein, The Lightstone Group Chairman & CEO, and Ian Schrager, CEO, Founder & Chairman of The Ian Schrager Company, as well as a host of industry leaders and participants in the New York commercial real estate market.
