Shearman & Sterling moderated an outbound M&A panel session at the 17th Annual Asian Venture Capital Journal (AVCJ) Private Equity and Venture Forum.

Shearman & Sterling spoke on a panel titled “The Rise of M&A and Cross-Border Deals,” addressing the current M&A activity, key drivers for cross-border deals and outbound M&A trends, as well as the role GPs can play in helping Indian companies expand overseas. The panel also featured speakers from Tata Opportunities Fund, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Micromax Informatics and KPMG.
