Shearman & Sterling is a proud sponsor of the 17^th Annual Austin Bar Foundation Gala, which was held at the Omni Hotel at Barton Creek Resort on January 25, 2020. The gala raised funds for the Austin Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Austin Bar Association. Contributions are donated to Veterans Assistance Programs, the Self-Represented Litigant Project, Austin Adoption Day, the LGBT Law Student Scholarship and other non-profit organizations and events in Central Texas. 
The Gala included presentation of awards honoring Austin lawyers who have excelled in their profession and service to the community, and an evening of networking for attorneys in the Austin area.
