Partner Malcolm Montgomery (New York-Real Estate) spoke at the Mortgage Bankers Association of New York’s summit “The Future is Bright: Strategic Real Estate & Lending” on May 3, 2022. His panel on commercial real estate loan workouts provided guidance on best practices to avoid lender liability, negotiation and enforcement strategies, foreclosure and bankruptcy scenarios and the treatment of carveout guarantees.

The panel was moderated by Joshua Stein of Joshua Stein PLLC. The other panelists included Mark Edelstein and Chris Delson of Morrison & Foerster.
