Firm Named ‘Best International Firm Latin America Practice’ at Women in Business Law Awards

Shearman & Sterling was named “Best International Firm Latin America Practice” at the 2014 Euromoney Legal Media Group Americas Women in Business Law Awards. The firm was recognized for its commitment to support women within the Latin America practice, with particular emphasis on the practice’s recent accomplishments.

The firm was also shortlisted for the following awards: “Best International Firm for Diversity,” “Best International Firm for Women in Business Law” and “Best Firm in the US Northeast.”

Seven Shearman & Sterling partners— Paula Anderson (New York-Litigation), Cynthia Urda Kassis (New York-Project Development & Finance), Doreen Lilienfeld (New York-Compensation, Governance & ERISA), Maura O’Sullivan (New York-Finance), Donna Parisi (New York-Investment Funds), Linda Rappaport (New York-Compensation, Governance & ERISA) and Antonia Stolper (New York-Capital Markets)—were also nominated for Euromoney awards.
