Shearman & Sterling was named the “Corporate Team of the Year” at the Corporate Counsel Middle East Awards on May 14 in Dubai, UAE. The firm received the award for, among other accomplishments, advising Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) on its establishment as an international financial centre in the United Arab Emirates.

Middle East managing partner said, “The past year has been a particularly strong year for our Middle East practice. We have worked on a number of major assignments, such as the historic and complex ADCO oil concession, while making strong inroads into new markets, such as regional private equity and equity capital markets transactions.”
