Aaron Profiled for Law360’s Women in Securities Law 2016

Partner Jaculin Aaron (New York-Litigation) was profiled on July 15 as one of Law360's top 25 Women in Securities Law for 2016. This highly competitive recognition honors the career accomplishments of female lawyers "who have won and defeated billions of dollars' worth of litigation" and "faced down the toughest government regulators."

The profile describes Aaron’s gift for navigating securities suits incorporating complicated legal and scientific issues. Her success was noted in an astonishing array of cases, from guiding Elan Corp. PLC to victory more than once against shareholder suits related to novel drug therapies, to achieving a massive win for Daimler AG in litigation arising out of Chrysler's bankruptcy.

Aaron has also garnered praise from her peers both within and outside the firm. “She’s a true expert both in the securities area and with respect to derivative cases,” said partner Stuart J. Baskin. Aaron is “what every lawyer should aspire to be,” said Alan Goudiss, another colleague. “She’s smart, she’s dedicated and she’s a delight to work with.” Harry M. Reasoner, a Vinson & Elkins LLP partner who has worked with her, remarked that “Jackie has a very fine mind, and she knows how to take difficult concepts and make them clear and go to the heart of the matter.”
