Partners Doreen Lilienfeld (New York-Compensation, Governance & ERISA) and Lisa Brill (New York-Real Estate) have been recognized as the best lawyers in their practice areas at the seventh annual Euromoney Legal Media Group Americas Women in Business Law Award event last night. Both were recognized for their impressive work over the past year.

Doreen’s win of the Best in Corporate Governance award recognizes her work advising CVS on its $69 billion acquisition of Aetna; General Electric on combining the GE Oil & Gas Business with Baker Hughes to create a $32 billion oilfield provider; and Altice in its $17.7 billion purchase of Cablevision, among others.

Lisa’s award for Best in Real Estate acknowledges her work advising an affiliate of Strategic Capital in a joint venture with affiliates of Cape Advisors and Forum Absolute in connection with the $366.8 million development of a residential condominium project in Lower Manhattan; Alliance Bernstein in connection with the $66.1 million construction loan to a joint venture entity to redevelop a commercial property in Long Island City, NY; and Al Duwaliya in connection with its acquisition of the Homewood Suites Hotel and an office building in Washington, D.C., among others.
