Shearman & Sterling has once again been recognized as a top litigation firm in Benchmark Litigation’s 2020 edition, which focuses on the top litigation firms and litigators in the United States.

The overall Litigation practice was rated “highly recommended,” the highest designation, with the team ranked “Tier 1” (the top tier) for securities and “Tier 2” for white collar, general commercial litigation, antitrust litigation and international arbitration. Five partners (Adam Hakki, Stuart Baskin, Stephen Fishbein, Jeffrey Resetarits, Todd Stenerson) were selected as “National Practice Area Stars” and 10 partners (Adam Hakki, Stuart Baskin, Stephen Fishbein, David Higbee, John Nathanson, Jeffrey Resetarits, Patrick Robbins, Lyle Roberts, Richard Schwed, Todd Stenerson) were selected as “Local Litigation Stars.” An additional nine partners (Mallory Brennan, Agnès Dunogué, Kieran Kieckhefer, Daniel Laguardia, Mark Lanpher, Christopher LaVigne, Daniel Lewis, Djordje Petkoski, Brian Polovoy) were also recognized by Benchmark as “Future Stars” or “Top Litigators Under 40.”
