Partner Donna Parisi, Shearman & Sterling’s Global Head of Financial Services and FinTech and leader of the firm’s women’s group, Shearman Women, has been included in Innovate Finance’s Women in FinTech Powerlist 2019 in the "Policymakers & Regulatory Experts" category.

Donna spearheads the firm’s FinTech Foundry program, which supports the FinTech-related activities of the firm’s clients as well as the wider global FinTech ecosystem including financial institutions, FinTech startups, accelerators and incubators, venture capital and private equity investors and policymakers.  Donna is a restless champion for women in FinTech and has worked to level the playing field for women in the industry and bring awareness to many of these issues. She has also led a number of events and workshops on topics related to women in FinTech, including investing in female-led FinTech startups, female leadership in FinTech and education around digital assets. 

Innovate Finance’s Women in FinTech Powerlist is now into its sixth year, celebrating the achievements and talent of women across the FinTech ecosystem. The 2019 iteration shines a spotlight on 200 women, across seven categories, who have made a real impact over and above their day-to-day role in FinTech.
