Shearman & Sterling continued its strong performance in the 2022 edition of Legal 500 Latin America, earning four practice and 20 individual recognitions. In addition, this marks the tenth consecutive year the firm has been ranked Tier 1 for Banking and Finance: International counsel. The rankings overall highlight the firm’s capabilities across multiple practice areas throughout Latin America.

Legal 500 named Shearman & Sterling partner Cynthia Urda Kassis to its Hall of Fame across practice areas including Banking and Finance and Projects and Energy. The Hall of Fame recognizes lawyers who are widely regarded as being at the very top of the profession and have been ranked as “Leading Individuals” by Legal 500 for at least eight of the last ten years. In addition, partners Denise Grant and Stuart Fleischmann were recognized as Leading Individuals for Banking and Finance and Capital Markets respectively.
