Shearman & Sterling Named in Global Restructuring Review List of Global Restructuring Leaders for 2021

Shearman & Sterling has been listed in Global Restructuring Review’s list of global restructuring leaders following the firm’s inaugural submission reflecting the firm’s expansion of its international restructuring practice.

GRR ranks leading law firms across the world for cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters. The list was compiled following extensive research by Global Restructuring Review’s editorial team into the size and geographic reach of the restructuring and insolvency teams at various law firms, their clients, and the value, volume and complexity of the cases they have advised on.

Shearman & Sterling has continued to grow its restructuring offering, aligning with market opportunities. Shearman & Sterling’s London restructuring hires earlier this year include new counsel hires Kevin Heverin and Tom McKay and additional associates Jamie Turley and Kate O'Donoghue. Their appointment follows that of Alex Wood in London and also Mark Shapiro rejoining the firm as Chairman of the Financial Restructuring & Insolvency group in New York.
