Shearman & Sterling’s Antitrust Practice and Partners Adam Hakki and Todd Stenerson Shortlisted for Benchmark Litigation – East Coast Annual Awards

Shearman & Sterling is pleased to announce that the firm has been shortlisted for multiple awards by Benchmark Litigation, including one of only six firms nominated for “Antitrust Practice of the Year.” In addition, Adam Hakki (New York-Litigation), the firm’s Global Managing Partner and head of its Litigation Practice and Disputes Unit, and partner Todd Stenerson (Washington D.C.-Litigation) were nominated for “Securities Litigator of the Year” and “Antitrust Litigator of the Year,” respectively. The nominees are selected based on research conducted between February and October 2021 and this year’s winners will be announced at an in-person ceremony on Thursday March 24, 2022, at 583 Park Avenue. As part of its annual rankings, Benchmark Litigation recognized the overall Litigation practice as a “highly recommended” firm, the highest designation, with the team ranked “Tier 1” for both securities and antitrust. The firm was also ranked for white collar, general commercial and international arbitration.

Earlier this month, the firm’s Antitrust practice was recognized by Law360 as a “Practice Group of the Year” in the Competition/Antitrust category for its landmark matters and general excellence over the last year.
