Shearman & Sterling advised Barings as lender on the financing of the acquisition of Sage Schweiz AG and Run my Accounts AG, leading HCM & ERP services and software provider in Switzerland, by Infoniqa, a portfolio company of funds advised by Warburg Pincus.

The financing comprised of a term loan provided by various Barings funds, a revolving credit facility provided by Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG as well as an option to implement an incremental facility. The proceeds from the financing were used, among other things, to finance and/or refinance the purchase price of the acquisitions, to refinance certain existing financing arrangements of the target entities and Infoniqa and for working capital purposes.
