Shearman & Sterling is delighted to announce that its Paris Private Equity team has received a “mention spéciale” for the LBO Large and upper mid-cap deals category at the Décideurs Juridiques Awards on January 25 2023. This award recognizes the outstanding work of our Paris PE team, notably in advising Carlyle on the sale of Euro Techno Com Group to Cinven, PAI Partners and European Camping Group on the acquisition of Vacanceselect and Bridgepoint on the sale of the HTL Group to Montagu.

Winners were chosen by a jury composed of GCs, CFOs, M&A advisors and PE funds which evaluated each firm’s landmark deals and other notable achievements over the past year.

The team also made significant progress in both the Option Droit et Affaires and Décideurs juridiques rankings, receiving three stars for LBO deals above €300 million in Option Droit et Affaires rankings. In parallel, the Paris M&A team achieved “Excellent - Tier 1” in M&A deals above €500 million in the Décideurs juridiques ranking following its 2021 ranking in the M&A deals between €75 – €500 Million category.

Décideurs juridiques is a French publication part of the Leaders League group that provides information and analysis on the legal industry. Option Droit et Affaires is a French publication entirely dedicated to the business law industry, the publication is known for its in-depth analysis and industry expertise.
