Shearman & Sterling’s work on two significant India-related deals received “Deal of the Year” recognition from India Business Law Journal (IBLJ).

The firm’s deals featured in the IBLJ's Deals of the Year 2022 report include:

• Reliance Industries’ US$4 billion bond offering, the largest-ever foreign currency bond deal in India; and
• Greenko Wind Projects (Mauritius) Ltd’s US$750 million bond offering, the first international green bond issuance to fund the construction of an energy storage project in India.
